Seymen Tradition

Have you ever wondered what ''Seymenler'' is?

 In an old Turkish tribe, Seymen was the name for the caravan guards. After the Turkish tribes settled down, Seymen's also adapted to this change and it started to be used for the people who get the bride from her house to the wedding saloon with a big regiment. 

  After centuries, this tradition changed to a folklore culture. On important days or in celebrations, Seymens go to the stage and  dance.

   

They wear their traditional clothes and daggers.
